so online stuff, i had heard about e.l.f. cosmetics from tangie like long time ago. its basically make up for $1 (studio and mineral is a couple of dollars more.) and so i ordered $20 of stuff so heres what i think about what i bought.
Mineral Booster in small. it costed $5 and its 0.17oz.
it doesn't do anything for me. i look the same and i don't see anything wonderful and amazing like some people said it was. im going to keep on playing with it and see if my opinion change since i just tried it once.
this is the Translucent Matifying Powder. it costed $3.
it worked pretty good. i didn't have any shine or olyness. the only bad thing is that when my brush goes in, powder is everywhere.
Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder, it was also $3.
the blush and bronzer is very pigmented. i like the shade of the bronzer a lot and the blush has tiny gold specs in it. so pretty ! same as the Translucent Matifying Powder, powder is everywhere once my brush hits it. overall for $3, its not bad compared to Nars $37 version.
Brightening Eye Color in Drama, $1.
so i haven't actually tried it on my eyes yet but i did do a swatch on my hand. its very pigmented for a $1 . it has a mirror in where the little sponge applicator is at.
All Over Cover Stick, also $1.
its pretty good. i use it for a primer for my eyes since im too cheap to go out and buy something like urban decays primer potion. :'D anyways, it STINKS though. on the website they said it smells like citrus or whatever.. NOT. it smelled like burnt plastic with some citrus on it. ugh. it doesn't bother me though. so i like it so far. its nice and light on my eyelids.
Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15, $1 each.
i got it in goddess and pink kiss. so its just basically a lip gloss. its not sticky as some are and it taste actually good.. not like the all over cover stick. lol! its like a vanilla grape taste/smell. goddess is a nice color on me and pink kiss isn't so.. my shade. i don't know. its when i put it on it looks weird imo. i guess i can try it again and see.. but its a nice lip gloss and with SPF 15!!
i bought 2 eyeshadow brushes for only $1 each since it had wonderful reviews on it. it works very well. this was a happy buy since i've been needing a brush for my eyeshadows.
this is the e.l.f. studio Powder Brush, i got this for $3.
its a very soft brush. i washed it once and it just shedded one hair. not bad but its nice.
so this was it from e.l.f., overall its pretty good. i suggest do you research about the products you like. i looked at blogs and youtube videos and thats how i decided what to buy. if you decide to get something, get the eyeshadow brush, you'll love it!
anyways, i went to the mall on april 18th with melissa. i originally wanted to get some hello kitty blind boxes at UO but i didn't see them.. sad so i went to mac and bought one of the hello kitty eyeshadow quad.
it was like 40$ with tax and stuff. they didn't have Too Dolly.. i wanted that the most but this had grew on me. so i got it. i love the colors like the coral. its so nice!
then after that i went to the sanrio store and looked around to see if there was anything i wanted since i couldn't get those vinyl toys from UO. then i looked in the jewelrys and i saw this beauty!!
it was 26$ and i love it. even though its in silver, ill live. it was so cute and i know if i didn't buy it i would regret it.
so after that i was broke and sorta happy. i was still pretty bummed by missing the sanrio $20 grab bags. it was like a all you can put in a big bag from a certian section or something. i even asked the cashier who rung me up about it and he was like "yeah it was my first day too. people was fighting. consider yourself lucky you missed it." i was like omg noo. but hellz no im not lucky for missing it. i was there at the mall too that day and i didn't know. that just pissed me the hell off! lol so i went on ebay and looked if anyone was selling anything and like this nice dude was selling like 5 packs of 12 so it would be 60 items for 9.95 each. so since me and lex, sadden by how we missed the sale.. we decided to split it . so i talked the price down to $42 shipped and we got it.
i don't have any pictures yet but i should be taking pictures before i take my nikon in for fixing. i had dropped my nikon after i got dropped off at my cousin's apartment complex and i was about to cry. the lens was making this weird squeeky noise whenever it was focusing on something with a lot of detail or something small.
sigh, thank god its still under warrenty. :'D or id be really broke then (and crying).
anyways.. so today me and lex hung out and we decided to start another project. reconstructing old clothes into new stuff. lex made a dress and i started on some jeans into shorts. (btw i left the legs of the jeans in that room still lex. lol) i think we're gonna stick to this until we have no more things to remake, or whatever. we have to get more materials though.. so one day we need to go to joanns and michaels.
anyways. ill take pics whenever i get the shorts done and the sanrio stuff. its like so late right now and i've been typing for like more then a hour. (lmao i have no life) i needed to blog since i haven't in a while and i needed to, tomorrow ill be busy doing homework. sigh!
