LAST WEEK~

Tuesday, February 16, 2010
Happy late Chinese New Year and Valentines Day! I hope everyone had a good weekend. :) I was working Sunday and they called me in on President's Day to work.. so extra hours is always good! My parent's was working Sunday too so we didn't have a family dinner but we had one on Thursday. Melissa had to leave right after we shopped around for Valentines Day stuff. This year we didn't do what we usually do on Chinese New Year since everyone was busy, which sucks! But I did get some red envelopes (lai sees), which is the best part of the new year! (JKJK but really.. it's that and the food that makes me love this Holiday!) So even though my Sunday was pretty lonely without my family, I spent it with Lex and her family!

We was painting the whole time I was there (Saturday and Sunday) since I needed to finish my Art HW.

My focus in Art is pandas so everything I do has a panda on it. I got a tile and I drew the panda onto it and then I got clay and make the panda 3-D. After that we made a box and poured plaster into it. When it dried I got two different pandas to paint! The one I did at school has a blue background so I had to make this one different. It's pretty awesome if I say so myself. I just need to fix the one at school since compared to this one, it looks like crap!

It was fun to do something creative over the weekend. Even though I was tired from work, it was a great stress reliever/relaxer.

And here is some Valentines Day related stuff...

My nails for Valentines Day~

Pink Gradient nails!

This time I used a sponge then a brush.. it was easier but it wasted a lot of polish. It's a toned down version of the first one I did in August!

Me and Melissa bought our parent's a cake since my mom said to not buy her any flowers since they die so the best thing to buy was a cake and OMG this was a delicious cake.

Tweeted about it last night~

So before Chinese New Year, me and Melissa decided to order some shoes off Urban Original since after Chinese New Year, we can't buy shoes for a while. Since shoes in Chinese sounds like the word 'rough', it means you may have a rough year.. but anyways we got our order last week!

I really needed boots! I was searching for OTK boots everywhere but since there was a cold snap in Orlando, it seems like all the stores around here are sold out of them..

Black OTK Boots

These are very nice! They are great OTK boots and it was $15.80. The sizing is a bit off so it's a bit roomy but you can wear thick socks to solve that problem. :D

Grey Knee High Boots

Yay for basics. I needed basic colors that can match with most things in my closet since the boots I had (Brown fringe and cheetah print), can't be worn with everything! It was $16.80. Not much of a sizing problem like the boots above but the fabric on the boots is thin. You get what you paid for, ya know!

NOW the shoes I was excited for!

I first saw them on a blog and she bought it from GoJane.com but when I wanted to buy it, it wasn't on the site anymore. So one day I went on Urban Original and BOOM, I saw it! I couldn't believe it cause I was pretty desperate for those shoes. Now I finally have it! It was the first shoe I tried on and I fell in love BUT.. it was too big. :/ The sizing again is totally OFF. I am a 8 1/2 and this shoe feels like a 9 1/2.. So I have to return it and they're going to send back a smaller size. This time I ordered a 7 1/2, hopefully it fits with no problems!

So this week I'll be getting a special little package that I am VERY excited to get and I'm pretty sure a lot of people are excited too.. I'm gonna definatly going to blog and review my haul. :)
